The Buckeye Family Resource Center is a partnership between FTF and Buckeye Elementary School District. The center serves the Buckeye community and its surrounding areas. The focus is on early childhood literacy, nutrition, health, and child-centered activities. Programs, resources and referrals are provided for family members of all ages and the community.
Services include:
- Advocacy and support for domestic violence victims
- Assessment for developmental ages/stages, vision and hearing screening
- Assistance with AHCCCS and food stamp applications
- Car seat safety education classes
- Early childhood literacy workshops
- Education and support for pregnant teens and their families
- Employment readiness workshops
- In-home support and parent education for families with children 0-3
- In-home support for families with children 0–5 years old with developmental delays
- Nutrition and activity education for professional and in-home childcare providers
- Nutrition classes
- Parenting skills classes focusing on children and youth 0-18 years old
- Support and education for grandparents raising grandchildren
- WIC services
- Health services for uninsured children 0-18 years old
